The Real Deal with Dr. White

This is the place to ask questions about all things Student Affairs related at Washington University.

“The Real Deal” is an open forum for members of the Division of Student Affairs to ask Dr. White any question related to the current status or future direction of the division. All “Real Deal” questions are personally answered at the monthly divisional meeting by Dr. White. She is committed to a timely, transparent culture in the division and the “Real Deal” is one platform for these values.

Questions can be submitted anonymously but must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Questions must pertain to the operations and/or business of Student Affairs or the university.
  • Question should not be offensive and/or harmful to others.
  • “Real Deal” should not be used as an opportunity for venting one’s concerns or criticizing another department.

The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs reserves the right to screen all questions for appropriateness and decide whether or not they are to be read publically. If you as a Student Affairs staff have concerns that you need to talk with someone about, do remember there are several resources available to you, the first being your supervisor. You may also speak with any one of the Senior Leadership members of the division or you may contact Human Resources.
