Kirk Dougher, PhD

Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Support and Well-being

Kirk Dougher obtained his BS in psychology from Utah State University and his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nevada. While most of his training and clinical work focuses on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, his dissertation centered on psychotherapy skills acquisition. He has been employed as associate vice chancellor for student support and well-being, which includes the Habif Health and Wellness Center and Disability Resources, since July of 2019. Prior to WashU, he served at the Florida Atlantic University and Brigham Young University. Previous positions included similar roles as Assistant Vice President, Counseling Center Director, Training Director, and a tenured faculty appointment in the counseling psychology graduate program.
